What does it feel like?
Every session is a combination of examination and
treatment. The therapist uses their hands to evaluate the texture, tightness, and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments, and nerves. Painful areas are treated by combining precise tension with very specific patient movements. It may be uncomfortable during the movement phase of treatment. This occurs as the neurological system is being stimulated to restore normal function and eliminate pain.

Clients choose RAPID because of the ‘rapid’ response to treatment. Treating the body at the neurological level stimulates a reprogramming of the tissue. Tight muscles relax, range of motion is restored, and pain is eliminated. This helps individuals quickly get back to
normal life.

First visit for patients who are hypermobile.  Hypermobility assessment will be performed for up to 30min.  Hypermobile patients often respond faster to my treatment, so the hands on may or may not take the entire allotted 60min for hands-on time. Patients who score less than a 4 on the Bighton scale do not qualify for this service price.

90 minutes of traditional Hawaiian massage in a warm room, a music playlist will be selected for the duration, hot towels to remove the excess oil after, and up to 30 minutes to gather yourself or take a short nap on the table.
